    Catalog Search Tips

    When searching TIGER, Prospector, and WorldCat, try to

    1. Use broad keywords from your class reading to begin your search.

    2. Refine your searches by adding or removing keywords.

    3. Click on the subject headings of interesting books to find similar materials.

    4. Try the Library of Congress Authorities and Vocabularies thesaurus to find variations of keywords and subject headings.

      Use the catalog to find books and more at Colorado College

      Use the CC library catalog to find books, DVDs, and other things in our local collection, as well as links to online resources such as ebooks and streaming video.

      If you are used to the old "Tiger" catalog, that was replaced with our new catalog in the summer of 2019. It should work similarly to Tiger, but better! Please ask at the Research Desk or Circulation Desk if you need help.

      Use WorldCat to request books from throughout the U.S.

       

       

       

      When the materials you want are not available in the catalog or Prospector, you can search in WorldCat and request them through Interlibrary Loan.
