Quick fixes for when something isn't working; direct journal links; information on costs.

Access from Off Campus

Off campus and need to use the e-resources? Use the library's links. Alternatively, log into the campus network using VMWare Horizon.

Library links can be located in Databases A-Z, the library catalog, or specific LibGuides. You will be asked to log into CC's CAS system. If you have forgotten your password or are having difficulty with MFA (Multifactor Authentication), please contact the ITS Solutions Center.

What are Electronic Resources?

"Electronic resource" is the general term to describe library-related products that are in electronic format, such as:

  • Databases
  • Online reference books
  • Electronic journals
  • Electronic books
  • Digitized works

Typically these are accessed over the Internet.  If a subscription is required for access, part or all of the electronic resource will not be available unless you are on a CC computer, you have a CC login, or have been set up with a special login & password.

These examples are NOT electronic resources:

  • Print newspaper
  • Paper magazine or journal
  • Books you can physically hold (without printing it out first)
