Geographic Names Information System
for the US and Territories
   - includes features normally on USGS 7½ minute (1:24,000 scale) topographic maps
   - ongitude& latitude, and feature information
   - searchable by feature name
   - may limit by attributes (state, county, and feature category, etc.).
   

CC has paper copies for Topos covering Colorado and sourthwest states.

U.S. Gazetteer
  - identify places to view with the Tiger Map server and obtain census data from the 1990 Census Lookup (Census Bureau)

  - gazetteer searchable worldwide geographical features (not government site)
