Finidng Citations

In addition to looking at the references in a bibliography for the sources used in the publication, you can check who has used that article in their bibliography.

 

To do that, use Web of Science and 

Use both --  they have different strengths.

  • Google Scholar surfs the internet resulting in a wide range of sources,
  • Web of Science’s citations are a select group of academic titles.

Using both tools, you can develop a very complete citation picture.

Check for possible full text by using Colorado College Links or Colorado College e-texts buttons next to the citations.

Settings in Google Scholar

Make sure you have access to the full text of articles in CC subscription databases.

1. Under the menu bars (top left), go to Settings and the Library Links

2. Type "Colorado College" in search box. Select option. Save.
