Register of Debates, (1824–1837), X 1.1:1824-25
–a record of the congressional debates

- record of debates

Journals

House and Senate Journals, XJH: (House) and XJS: (Senate) 
– from the 1st session, Congress has kept a journal of their proceedings in accordance with Article I, Section 5 of the Constitution
– minutes of floor actions and not a transcript of proceedings

Journals of the Continental Congress, X 1.1:
– daily proceedings of the Congress as kept by the office of its secretary
– 34 volumes and index
