MU 295 Indonesian Music: Find Scores

New Scores in the Music Library

Finding Scores

Scores of world music are much rarer than those of Western art music, due to the fact that many world musics are transmitted aurally rather than in print notation.

To find examples of Kepatihan notation, a cipher notation frequently used in the notation of Gamelan music, see information provided by the American Gamelan Institute.
